The Forum will invite scholars from Japan, Philippines, Korea, Afghanistan , India,to present research essays, discuss, and exchange ideas and opinions. The 2011 Asian Art and Curator’s Forum will extensively discuss the impact of new cultural trends on Asian contemporary art and how this affects each country with respect to its regional history, traditions, aesthetics, cultural and social backgrounds, and relationship with its regional counterparts in the new ear of the 21st century. The forum aims to foster a mutual exchange of views and to deepen the reciprocal understanding as the basis for further interaction and connection. Participants will share their perspectives and analysis to disclose the development of Asian contemporary art in different countries with an integrated and panoramic view.
