1. | Holders of reader’s cards may apply at the Information Desk to use computer equipment. |
2. | Please use the computer equipment allocated to you by our staff. |
3. | Readers may freely avail themselves of the multimedia resources publicly available in this area (including audio tapes, video discs, interactive discs, etc.). Readers may also avail themselves of internet resources, which are provided by the museum or not. In the event that, for any reason, any computer equipment cannot be used, the museum staff’s allocation of computer equipment shall prevail. Use of computer equipment is limited to one hour or one session at a time. |
4. | Readers are forbidden to use internet chat sites and pornographic websites. |
5. | Regulations governing the use of closed stack material, such as slides or microdata, are as follows:(1) | Closed stack material and its associated equipment are for use in this area only. They may not be removed. | (2) | Applications to use closed stack material should be made at the multimedia information desk with a completed Reader’s Request form. Slides may be used one person and one session at a time. Microdata use is limited to five rolls of microfilm and 20 microfiches per person per session. Closed stack audio-visual material is limited to two items per person per session. |

6. | The material and equipment in this area must be used properly and in accordance with the indicated instructions. In the event of damage or loss, liability for compensation shall be borne in full. |
7. | It is forbidden to use this museum’s equipment with multimedia material not supplied by this museum. |
8. | Readers who, in the pursuit of the not-for-profit requirements of academic research, and on the premise of not breaching copyright laws, need to print data (be it from this museum or not) found in the course of internet searches must first purchase a photocopy card from the reference desk.. |
