The Ministry of Culture and the Taichung City Government co-host the press conference, “Homebound – Collection Donation Agreement Signing Between the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts - The Taichung Prefectural Hall and Sun Ten Museum, Irvine, USA”, which is held on the lawn of the Taichung Prefectural Hall.

Lin Chi-Ming becomes the museum’s 8th director. The directorship is transferred over from interim director Chen Chao-Jung and supervised by deputy culture minister Hsiao Tsung-Huang.

With the theme, “Collecting the present, a fine life,” the museum participates in the 2015 Creative EXPO Taiwan at Taipei’s Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, exhibiting the museum’s adoption of the values of collecting to promote the outcomes of the authorization of collection usage. The Art Bank also participates, adopting the theme, “Arts, Give Me Fine!.”

The museum takes part in the hallmark service competition in the service and planning organization category of the seventh government prize for service quality, with the theme, “Art Bank creates service projects,” and is honored to proceed beyond the qualifying rounds. The jury, from the National Development Council, attends Art Bank management headquarters to undertake judging.
