This catalogue collecting the results of the 2019 Asian Art Forum and documenting the live events of the 2019 Asian Art Biennial Artists Forum presents in printed form the many concepts of the forum’s presenters and the biennial’s participating artists stemming from the idea of “strangers,” as well as the region’s convergent historical and political relationships. In this way it transcends pre-existing boundaries and ideologies and initiates a variety of interpretive frameworks about Asia and directions for further research.
